When using your cell phone, just keep the shielded flip cover between your body and radiation-emitting mobile device. There is no shielding in the back of the cover so there is no interference with the wireless connection when you are on the phone talking.

Directions:

• Answer or dial out on your cell phone.
• Flip the shielded front cover closed over the screen and lift the phone up to your ear.
• Speak on the phone as you normally would. Voice and sound quality will not be affected since the microphone is unobstructed on the bottom of your phone and a small opening over the ear speaker allows you to hear perfectly.
• If you put your phone in your pocket, purse or bag, keep the shielded front cover closed and facing towards your body. This creates a barrier to block emissions from your device to your body.
• While using your phone’s touchscreen, flip the front cover around to the back to block emissions coming from the back of the phone.

Apple has designed the 3D touch screens on newer models of the iPhone such as iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models to have adjustable screen sensitivity. If your phone is acting unexpectedly when closing the cover of your case, this can be easily solved by adjusting the sensitivity of the touchscreen in your phone settings. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch. You can either turn this feature completely OFF or set the sensitivity slider to FIRM to make the the 3D touch screen less sensitive.

This is only applicable for the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus,  iPhone 7 and  iPhone 7 Plus models.

1. Open the universal phone case.
2. Remove the top layer of the adhesive, which is located on the black rectangle on the inside of the back side of the case.
3. Slide the rectangle to the very bottom of the track.
4. Center the phone over the case, ensuring the front flap will completely cover the phone, before pressing down on the phone screen to secure the back of the phone to the adhesive.
5. To use the camera, slide the phone upward until the camera lens is above the back of the case.
6. To talk on the phone or carry your phone in your pocket, slide the phone back down to ensure a secure fit inside the case, and close the front of the case for EMF protection.

Yes, cell phones emit Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) and direct exposure to these emissions can be a health risk. There are two types of EMF radiation emitted from cell phones: Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) radiation and Radio Frequency (RF) radiation (which includes cellular signals, WiFi and Bluetooth). More and more, particularly in recent years, scientific studies have confirmed that these EMF exposure can adversely modify the biological operations of the body. In more serious cases, exposure to EMFs can lead to tumors, reduce sperm count and other serious health concerns.

Cell phone radiation emissions present the greatest potential health risks when directly touching the body, especially the head, breasts and reproductive organs. This is referred to as zero distance to the body. Moving your cell phone away from your body just a few inches reduces the health risks. As a rule of thumb, when a cell phone is moved at least one foot away from the head or body, cell phone radiation is reduced by as much as 80%.

20 years ago computers and telephones were very big and bulky. Computers were placed on the floor and didn’t really move while phone were placed in a stationary base connected by cords and wires. They both emitted Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs), but were relatively safe, because they were used a safe distance away from the body.

Today, the computer and phone have merged into one device that fits in the palm of your hand. A smartphone is essentially a small computer, yet has many times the computing power of traditional computers. There are no cords to connect you to a base. Although the cell phone produces lower levels of radiation then past computers, they are now used much closer to the body and for longer periods of time, thus creating more health risks than in the past.

As a general rule, we suggest that you keep your phone at least four feet away from your bed when you sleep.

The more you can limit your exposure to EMFs, the better. This goes for tablets and computers as well. 

Distance is one of the greatest forms of protection for EMF radiation emissions. According to basic principles of physics, as distance from a source of EMF radiation increases, intensity of exposure decreases dramatically; in other words, simply putting your phone a few feet away will considerably reduce the amount of EMF radiation reaching your body.
