Learning How to Live with and Recover from Electromagnetic Sensitivity
I was recently asked, “If you gained knowledge that would help others and you didn’t share it, what then?” Today we live in a technological world. How often are you just on your phone alone? Technology is all around us, and it is constantly advancing (5G). But at what price?
Becoming Sick and Not Knowing Where to Turn
If you’ve seen me since June 2016, you know I have been ill.
I worked as an electrician at a commercial plant for the last 10 plus years. This plant runs for 24 hours a day. I was in and out of, and all around hundreds of electrical panels all day long. I was also on my cell phone all the time.
One day out of nowhere, my body decided it couldn’t take any more. I went into work feeling nauseous, dizzy, and like I was about to faint. I could barely walk and couldn’t drive. I wasn’t sure what was happening, but knew I needed to get to a hospital and called an ambulance.
Three years later, and I have been out of work for an 8-month stint, a 6-month stint and another 6 months that ended at the end of 2019, due to this “functional impairment.” I felt these debilitating symptoms every day.
Yes, every day!
I couldn’t work, I couldn’t do house chores, I couldn’t run errands or walk around the block. Worse, I wasn’t able to spend time with anyone I love, including my wife and two young daughters. Some days I couldn’t even leave my bed, let alone the house. I told everyone, “I wouldn’t wish this feeling on anyone.”
I have gone to several doctors: 3 ENT’s, an eye doctor, a neurologist, an acupuncturist, a physical therapist, and of course my regular physician. I received several different diagnoses and was prescribed many different medications, but nothing seemed to help. I was only existing instead of living, and eventually it became too much for me to handle. I had to get to the bottom of what was causing these symptoms so I could live again.

Being Diagnosed with Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity
Luckily one of the physicians I met with had a hunch that I may be Electromagnetic Hypersensitive. He referred to an EMF specialist, Dr. Russell Kort, who goes by the moniker DoctorEMF™ and is the world’s leading expert in EHS diagnosis and treatment.
in June 2019, I was wheel-chaired into Dr. Kort’s office, and after some assessments he told my wife and I that I suffered from an ailment called Electromagnetic Sensitivity, also known as Electromagnetic (EMF) Hypersensitivity—a condition I had never heard of before.
He said that because of my EMF Sensitivity, my brain and body were getting biologically affected from electrical radiation (electromagnetic fields, radio frequencies and my overall electrical environment).
I discovered that things such as my cell phone, WiFi in our home, and going into large public spaces—department stores, grocery stores, and restaurants—all have an effect on me because of the amount of EMF frequencies I am exposed to.
After a Heart Rate Variability (HRV test), I found out that despite only being 41 years old, I had the brain of a 70-year-old man.
Following Dr. Kort’s advice, I made immediate changes to my home environment, as well as undergoing treatment that was designed to make my cells more resilient to this stressor.
After only a day, I was able to walk out of the office. After a week, I had the brain of a 30 year-old man. With even more treatment, I had the brain of a 23 year-old man.
A month later, I was able to go to Disneyland with my family to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday. There was absolutely no way I would have been able to do this before visiting Dr. Kort.
Relieving Electromagnetic Sensitivity Symptoms
There are many ways I mitigate my symptoms so I can walk around in public and enjoy spending time with my family. These are just a few.
- WiFi in our home is only on when we are using it.
- We installed an EMF sleep-safe switch, which allows us to turn off the power in our home safely every night, for my brain/body to heal.
- I limit my use of my cell phone, tablet and mobile devices, but when I do use them, I always have them in a DefenderShield case to limit my exposure.
- I always wear my DefenderShield Blue Light Blocking Glasses.
- When I am around WiFi, in the car, at the store, or around big groups of people I always wear my DefenderShield EMF Radiation Protection Blanket.
Many Suffer From EMF Sensitivity
Although my health was hanging by a thread, I now know the cause of my symptoms, have ways to protect myself. I have HOPE and am no longer afraid to go out into the world and live a happy and productive life. I quit my job as an electrician, and am now passionate about informing others about EMF hypersensitivity and helping those with EMF Sensitivity heal.
I am not the only one that is being affected by EMFs. A large part of the population either knowingly, or unknowingly, is affected. It could be you, right now, reading this message from your computer or mobile device.
This is my analogy: a nuclear bomb. The bomb goes off and the highly intense radiation at the core affects everything. As you get further and further away from the core, the less damage there is from the radiation, but is still there, nonetheless. Some of us, like me, are close to the core all the time, and some of us aren’t, but we are all in the circle of radiation being affected in some way.
You may not be feeling the effects of the EMF radiation now, and if you are they might not be debilitating, but what about in the future? My wife and children aren’t sensitive to EMFs like I am, but they still benefit from reducing their daily EMF exposure and by wearing Blue Light Blocking Glasses while using technology.
What You Can Do About Electromagnetic Sensitivity
Unfortunately, we are all exposed to many forms of electricity and EMF radiation – including the up-and-coming 5G network communication. I’m not writing this to try and scare or frighten anyone, but to educate and hopefully connect with people that need help like I did.
Technology is a good thing and helps us in so many ways; I’m not saying to get rid of it all together. But there are solutions I’ve learned to help mitigate and protect myself and to make my home safer.
Our bodies are constantly surrounded by radio frequency (RF) radiation from cell towers, WiFi, and other technologies. There are many symptoms, but if you know anyone that seems more irritable, has fatigue/weakness, sleep disturbance/insomnia, headaches/migraines, brain fog/difficulty concentrating, depression or anxiety, memory loss, visual disruptions/light sensitivity, skin problems, heart palpitations, dizziness or simply feels affected by their electronic devices or technology, I encourage you to share my story with them, because they can get help and feel better. They should know they can find HOPE like I did.
If you know someone that suffering from EHS, or you are suffering yourself, I highly recommend you reach out to EMF and EHS expert practitioner, Dr. Russell Kort. He helped me when no one else could, and my life has improved in so many ways! Dr. Kort also suffers from EHS himself so he is compassionate and will understand what you are going through.
Electromagnetic Sensitivity might start affecting people more and more, as digital technology becomes much more of a daily presence in our lives, especially with all the children in the world who have grown up in this electrosmog from the time they were born.
Now that you have read this, and gained this knowledge, what will you do next?
